Pichelmann Wins Award for Townhouse Renovation at Master Builders ACT Industry Awards

On the 6th of September, the Master Builders Association of the ACT held their annual industry awards night, recognising outstanding work in the region over the past 12 months. Pichelmann Maintenance & Minor Works had three projects nominated for awards—an excellent testament to the team’s ongoing commitment to quality.

Pichelmann Custom Building had one project, a townhouse renovation in Reid, nominated in the Townhouse Renovation category—and we were thrilled to win this category! The project was a fantastic collaboration between Pichelmann, the Dept. of Design, and Precise Custom Joinery. Special thanks also go to our wonderful and trusting client, who had faith in us to install a vacuum-operated lift in her multi-level townhouse.

This project posed significant problem-solving challenges that required input from the design, construction, and engineering teams at Sellick Consultants. It included cutting a 1-metre diameter hole in a structural concrete slab to facilitate the lift shaft.

Everyone here at Pichelmann is incredibly proud of the outcome, and the award we received on Friday night is recognition of the team's dedication, attitude, and effort.
